This year Donald Russell Ltd celebrates its 50th anniversary. As a continuation of the May launch activity that marked that momentous milestone, we’re ending the year with a Christmas campaign to help create a new generation of mealtime memories. Donald Russell has been delivering award-winning meat and fine foods to homes across Britain since 1974. Here’s to the next half century. This time last week we took our real-life #PensionMirror out on tour for the very first time. And what a first stop it was: Waterloo Station. We set up in prime position to hit peak commuting time, piquing the interest of passers by with Pension Mirror guessing their age using smart AI. Thanks to the proven success of the multi-award-winning digital Pension Mirror, we know what it takes to get busy people to engage with their far-off futures right now. And we were confident that it was time to get physical to take pension engagement to where people were offline. With the hook of your age being guessed as a naturally intriguing entry point to thinking about your pension pot combined with a commanding, tempting-to-tap, 6-foot mirror, it was the perfect offline tool for turning more heads and stopping people in their tracks. And on reflection, just a day of Pension Mirror at Waterloo generated impressive engagement: Over 13 hours People interacted every 1 minute and 50 seconds That’s 468 people in total We’re very proud of our real-life Pension Mirror after its first big day out. And the success has clearly been the result of a brilliant never-combined-before blend of technology and talent between ourselves and the Scottish Widows team, Union Connect and The Union Digital. Every 1 min and 50 seconds!!!! 🎉 Yes every 1 mins and 50 seconds throughout a constant period of 13 hours we had people using our Pension Mirror activation and engaging with their pension in Waterloo station yesterday!! 🪞 An unbelievable number! What a day driving engagement at scale with our Pension Experts! We had Waterloo Domination OOH surrounding the station and the full motion screen promoting Take a small step towards a bigger pension and our Pension Mirror stand. You may even have seen me on it 🤩 An unbelievable array of experiential, new brand, media buying and creative to make us unmissable!! Special shout outs to Union Direct, adam&eveDDB and Zenith UK We even had an amazing visit from Pay Your Pension Some Attention and helped someone track down £21k in their pension! Our new microphone took centre stage with on the day turnaround of live content from promotion, vox pops, special visitors and loads more to come! Unbelievable!
