They did it! Huge congratulations to our colleagues Giacomo Spagnoli and Dominika Spernal who completed 10k and 5k charity runs in the New Forest last weekend to raise money for Dementia UK. Giacomo tells us: "It was a lovely day, although there was torrential rain as we were parking, but luckily as we did the warm up it stopped. "There were about a thousand people doing the 10k and 5k and we did a massive warm up together to get pumped up and raise our spirits. Then we set off. For the first few kilometres the roads were flooded, but there were so many marshals cheering us on, with a few dressed up as tribute acts singing to us. It was a great atmosphere for the whole event. It was a perfect running temperature as it wasn't too hot or cold, but after the run we were covered in mud 😂. It was a great achievement for me as I had never done it before and I'm looking forward to doing more running events in the near future."
