From construction sites to saxophone solos - meet Moyo! 🎷🏗️ To initiate our celebrations for Women In Construction Week, we’re shining a light on one of the newest members of our team who is starting her career in construction. Meet Moyo, a Graduate Employer’s Agent based in our Brentford, London office. Since joining Welling in 2024, she’s been working on key projects, including Montem Lane in Slough and Brook Avenue in Wembley, all while expanding her expertise in contract administration. Outside of work, Moyo has a passion for music - playing piano and alto saxophone, as well as belting out karaoke classics - it runs in the family! To enjoy some relaxing downtime she’s taught herself to knit and crochet. She’s also a trained cocktail bartender and a keen traveller, having visited 10 countries in the past three years. Oh, and she’s rubbed shoulders with A-listers Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto. Completion at St Mary’s Court in Witney, West Oxfordshire As residents move into their new homes at St Mary’s Court in Witney, West Oxfordshire, we reflect on a fantastic project completion of 30 new apartments for the over 55s, all for social rent with Cottsway. The new energy-efficient apartments are a complete regeneration of a former sheltered housing block. First Group of Affordable Homes Delivered for SNG in Slough The first group of new affordable homes at ‘SNG at Montem’ are now complete! Welling Partnership LLP is proud to be supporting SNG (Sovereign Network Group) and working with Bellway Homes in delivering 74 high-quality homes for affordable rent and shared ownership in Slough. Completed earlier this month, the first seven homes consist of one and two-bed apartments, each with a balcony or terrace. Staff Spotlight - Ola A. - Employer’s Agent by day, musician by night! 🎵 Meet Ola Ajala, an Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor at Welling Partnership LLP, based in our Southampton office. Since joining us in 2022, Ola has played a key role in delivering a variety of residential projects, from modular builds in Guildford to large-scale developments at Tattenhoe Park in Milton Keynes. Outside of work, this man has many hidden talents! A former professional tailor and self-taught barber (he swears by his own fades!), he’s also a passionate musician, having performed to crowds of 2,000. And when he’s not playing piano, guitar or singing in a choir, you’ll find him cheering on Arsenal with a Guinness.
