  • Tender prices in the construction industry worldwide are being increasingly driven by geopolitical risk due to conflict and political instability – that’s one of the key findings of RLB’s Global Annual Report 2025. Our latest data – compiled by RLB experts in 35 countries – shows a 2.3% increase in the impact of geopolitical risks on construction escalation. By contrast, there has been a 3.4% decrease in the influence of input costs on escalation in the construction sector as prices of materials, labour, plant and fuel have all eased. Read more in the Market Data & Insights section of the report, where you will find in-depth analysis of global construction trends, tender price forecasts for the world’s major cities, and commentary on market activity by sector and region. At RLB, our insights are driven not only by data but also by our values. This means you can rely on our market intelligence because we are passionate about achieving excellence and getting the fundamentals right. • Our commitment to progress extends far beyond International Women's Day. At RLB, we’re building tomorrow—today. Guided by our values of Truth, Trust, Together, and Tomorrow, we #AccelerateAction every day by empowering our team and embracing innovative ideas. With nearly two decades of extensive experience in commercial and mixed-use developments, data centres and advanced tech facilities, Nikki Venetsanakis has built a career defined by technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to innovation. Having overseen complex projects across local and international markets, she has managed engineering scope, project schedules, and budgets across entire project lifecycles. In a field where women are often the minority, she has not only excelled but also paved the way for future generations of female leaders. As we mark International Women’s Day, Nikki’s success is a reminder that true progress lies in creating spaces where all women and girls can thrive. We hope her work continues to inspire a new wave of talent, ensuring the future of Advanced Tech is not just innovative - but inclusive. • Tomorrow, March 8, we celebrate International Women’s Day under the United Nations’ theme, “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” For Sarah Draper FCIPD (She/Her), RLB’s People and Culture Director, International Women’s Day is about celebrating all women, those who champion and support them and ensuring that we have a diverse, equitable and inclusive world for us all to live and work in. “I am now in a privileged position where I can help make a difference and hold others to account. Like all our DE&I campaigns, it is not just for one day, it’s throughout the year, ensuring that we #AccelerateAction to create a level playing field for all. The key to change is our collective efforts and action, for us all to take shared ownership of ensuring together that everyone can make progress. Tomorrow needs to be better.” #IWD2025 #ForAllWomenAndGirls #Rights #Equality #Empowerment #WherePeopleMakeProgress
