Campbell Connelly, part of Wise Music Group, has signed an exclusive songwriter agreement with Josephine Stephenson. The deal further cements Stephenson’s relationship with us - her concert repertoire is published by Leduc through our Paris office. Stephenson is a French-British composer, arranger and performer working across contemporary classical and indie music. She has worked as an arranger and performer with artists including Damon Albarn, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and Daughter.

This Saturday 13th April at Carnegie Hall in New York, the late James Whitbourn's Requiem (orchestrated by John Rutter) will be premiered by the wonderful James Jordan with Westminster Choir and the New England Symphonic Ensemble. The Requiem was commissioned by Rider University’s Westminster Choir College and incorporates existing material written for James Jordan, Whitbourn’s long-time friend and collaborator, and the Westminster Williamson Voices. The *Classic FM Live* events held at London's Royal Albert Hall are always wonderfully uplifting occasions. I'm particularly looking forward to going the next one with Paul Mealor to hear his new arrangement of Ode to Joy, created for the occasion. And, another favourite person, Sir Karl Jenkins, will be conducting various well-known pieces of his to celebrate his 80th birthday. Alexander Armstrong and Myleene Klass will present the event. Mealor's new work will be in the capable hands of Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) and Chorus, conducted by Ben Palmer. In not so long it will be time for the Three Choirs Festival again. As the world's longest running music festival, it rotates taking place between the cathedral cities of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester. Since its beginnings in 1715, the festival has provided incredible music which has served as the inspiration for thousands. **23 pieces** which we publish will be performed, from the choral staples of Howells, Harris and Weir, through to delights by George Crumb, Olivier Messiaen, Florence Price and Samuel Barber, as well as performances of major works by Sarah Kirkland Snider, Ian Venables and Judith Weir, plus a premiere by Paul Mealor.
