📊 Gender Wage Gap: Progress & Challenges from 1990 to 2023 Over the past three decades, the gender wage gap in OECD countries has narrowed, yet significant disparities remain. Despite ongoing efforts, women continue to earn less than men, with a persistent average gap of around 13% in 2022. This inequity affects economic growth, undermines gender equality, and requires renewed policy focus. Governments, businesses, and individuals must continue working on this critical issue to ensure equal pay for equal work.
