Well done to Meaw, a local resident who landed a job at Rabbie’s Noodle Hut 🌟 With help from our Employment Co-ordinator, Poppi Gallagher, and Real Opportunities Wythenshawe, Meaw was able to pull together a CV, send out applications and complete a trial day with Rabbie herself. Here, she impressed her with her cooking skills and was offered the job! 🥳 Fancy getting some help with finding a job of your own? Get in touch! You don’t even have to be a resident of ours, just have an M22/M23 postcode 🔗 https://ow.ly/qyAG50TPKHW #Wythenshawe #Manchester #M22 #M23

As #GetOnlineWeek comes to a close, we wanted to celebrate all the hard work our colleagues do across the business to help our residents get online 🌐 In the past year, through collaboration with our community partners: 🌟 1,388 residents received digital skills training across 7 sites 📲 400 data SIMs were issued to help residents get online 💻 475 residents benefitted from IT drop-in sessions at Benchill Community Centre We believe everyone should have the skills and confidence needed to get online, and will continue to offer sessions for all in Wythenshawe, not just our residents 💫 🔗 Do check out our Resident Annual Review if you want to see what else we got up to: https://ow.ly/8LWQ50TOkZj #DigitalInclusion #SocialHousing #Wythenshawe

It's our second year with BOOST and we're thrilled for our very own Triston Palma and Simon Morris to be joining this year's cohort! We can't wait to see what they get out of it 🌟
BOOST, our leadership mentoring programme, is back for a second year 🌟 This year, we welcome new members from Onward Homes, The Regenda Group, Together Housing Group and Bolton at Home, bringing us to a total of 19 participating housing providers from across Greater Manchester. BOOST is all about breaking down barriers and making sure our leadership teams reflect the rich diversity of our communities. Through the mentoring programme, mentees, mentors and change champions learn from each other, driving cultural change and creating more inclusive workplaces. Last year, our cultural change projects focused on improving recruitment practices, and we’re proud to see many mentees and mentors advancing in their careers, including promotions to director and even Chief Executive roles! John Bowker, Southway's new Chief Executive and GMHP lead for BOOST, shares his pride in the programme’s growth and the positive impact it’s making. “I feel very proud to welcome a new cohort to BOOST and see how much the project has grown in its first year. “It’s a great partnership between social housing providers, partly funded by Innovate UK with academic support from the universities to make our organisations more inclusive with senior leaders that are more representative of our diverse communities." We wish the second cohort all the best for the year ahead. Together, we're building a future where everyone can thrive. #DiversityInLeadership #BOOSTProgramme #InclusiveWorkplace #GMHP #EqualityDiversityInclusion #ChooseToInclude
