When it comes to keeping audiences engaged, striking the balance between detail and digestibility is key. Trim away too much, and you might also lose the detail that builds trust, and shows the value of what you have to offer. Show every single way your offering is perfect, and you'll leave your users overwhelmed and swamped by too much information. Want to get the balance right? From interviews and moodboards to final design concepts, the aim was always to elevate Worldwide Cancer Research to help grow the Curestarter community, and to maximise the impact of #TeamWorldwide. User research told us that discovery research could often be too negative or infantilising - so our solution was a website that could present critical, specialist information in a way that's highly usable, accessible, and fun. Across the site, we focused on easing cognitive load and keeping engagement high by making discovery research as easy to absorb as possible. Throwback to our last marketing brunch, where we brainstormed solutions to the challenges of modern-day marketing. From making space for unbridled innovation, to speaking the language of stakeholders, we came together to discuss how we can make results a reality without sacrificing creativity in the process. We'll be back again, this time chatting through keeping up with changing trends, needs and goals in continually maintaining a digital presence. Tailored for internal marketers at purpose-driven organisations, it's set to be an insightful session. Join us at our Marketing Lunch in September by booking your place at the link in the comments.
