Winning in difficult times: My insights from the FT Global Insurance Summit Yesterday’s panel was a remarkable experience! I had the privilege of speaking with industry leaders Tara Foley, CEO of AXA UK UK&I, and Igno van Waesberghe, Managing Partner of Aquiline Capital Partners. Our discussion on the current tough funding environment for Insuretechs made me appreciate the strong position Zego is in. With a clear path to profitability this year and the advantages of being a full-stack insurer, Zego remains resilient to headwinds. A key takeaway from the panel was the power of collaboration among traditional insurers, Insuretechs, and capital providers. By working together, we can drive impactful initiatives that ultimately benefit our customers. Excited for what’s ahead and the opportunities to innovate and grow together! PS! For the last year or so, I’ve not referred to Zego as insurtech, instead technology-first insurance company. Why? Well you have to get key insurance components right like pricing, claims and capital management on top of having a great product for customers.
