Our Summer Internship Program in Asia

Our Summer Internship Program in Asia is an 8-week (16 June – 8 August 2025) internship designed to provide you with an exciting, supportive and fun experience which mirrors life as an Analyst at BlackRock. You’ll have real-world responsibilities during the summer, in addition to participating in professional development, networking and social events.

The Summer Internship Program acts as a feeder to the 2026 Full-Time Graduate Analyst Program.

Business Functions

Analytics & Modeling

We research, develop and implement innovative quantitative models used to assess financial risk across fixed income, equities, derivatives and alternative products through our proprietary technology, Aladdin®. We also provide risk management and tailored advice to drive better business and investment outcomes.

Portfolio Management

Uniquely crafted to deliver outstanding outcomes, better returns, increased convenience and improved transparency for our clients by building investment quality and efficient portfolios.

Private Markets Investing

Investing in private markets plays an increasingly critical role in portfolios. We offer access to a broad spectrum of private assets, such as private equity, private debt, infrastructure and real estate. Each business is responsible for strategic planning and oversight as well as investment management activities.

Product Strategy and Solutions

We focus on driving the business strategy, innovation and commercialization of the full investment platform. This includes unlocking new growth opportunities across Active, iShares and Private Markets. Our goal is to ensure that delivering performance for clients remains the highest priority, aligning product strategies with where clients and markets are going, and working with clients to create custom solutions that suit their needs.

Sales & Relationship Management – Fintech Platform

We partner with clients to help them oversee their enterprise risk, build better portfolios and enhance their value proposition to clients. This is achieved by using risk analytics – powered by Aladdin® – to equip clients with model construction capabilities, risk monitoring tools, and portfolio construction & analytics.

Sales & Relationship Management – Institutional & Retail

We are responsible for the strategy and distribution of the breadth and depth of BlackRock’s platform and products, including open-end funds, closed-end funds, private assets and managed accounts, among others, working in partnership with financial intermediaries. Our client segments include institutional (e.g., pension schemes, asset managers and asset owners), wealth (e.g., private banks, wealth managers, etc.), and specialist clients (family offices, investment trusts & charities).

Eligibility

You don't have to study finance or technology to apply as we welcome candidates studying any degree subject. If you will be graduating from an undergraduate or a master’s degree program between September 2025 and August 2026.
