Internal Sales Representative
Glasgow – Hybrid (3 days a week in North-East Glasgow office)
Salary up to £40,000 (DOE) + commission & benefits
Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting a leader in the technical equipment sales industry in growing their Sales Team. They are looking for a skilled Internal Sales Representative to join their headquarters in Glasgow.
Our client is a leader in specialised equipment systems, selling to universities, government labs, scientific institutions, and high-tech companies. They are expanding their team to bring in a knowledgeable Internal Sales Representative who has an outstanding track record of sales and business development where you are used to a consultative sales approach for a technical product or technology.
This role is pivotal to my client’s continued success, focusing on qualifying and generating leads for system sales, servicing existing customer network, and driving consumable product sales globally.
Key role responsibilities:
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships, delivering exceptional service and technical support.
- Identifying new direct business opportunities while supporting existing customers.
- Providing technical advice to customers after understanding their specific requirements (training provided).
- Keeping CRM systems updated with contact information, sales forecasts, and customer activity records.
- Preparing and issuing quotations with updated pricing for products and services.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- 1-3 years of technical sales experience; specifically in scientific, semiconductor or capital equipment sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Proven expertise in customer relationship management, consultative sales, and business development.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A UK passport and full driver’s license, along with flexibility to travel when required.
