A shout out to Phillips 66 UK, a founding network member and Nina Stobart for inviting Dainora Olechnovic to attend our network and who then kindly updated us on being part of your post to highlighting role models in science. It was unplanned and you are brilliant Dainora 🙏
Today, is the 10th year celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science! 🌟 🔬 🧪 At Phillips 66, we believe strongly in the power of representation and the critical role it plays in building a diverse workforce and sustainable future. Through our education outreach we aim to inspire future generations, break stereotypes and show women and girls what they too can achieve in science and STEM. We are lucky to have many role models who share our passion and continue to support our outreach and make a difference to girls in the region helping to develop their confidence and skills. Our EEK Programme aimed at year 6 pupils, and now in its 16th year has already seen passions ignite and students return for work experience and on graduate placements 12 years later! We support all to achieve whilst inspiring the next generation.
