Four Nine

When England men's team lose in a major tournament, domestic abuse rises by 38%. Ten years ago I read that shocking statistic. Ten years on, on the eve of the Euros starting, that statistic remains the same. As a lifelong football fan, it pained me that the sport I love is a trigger for so many people's pain and suffering. So I felt compelled to do something. Over the last few months Four Nine / The Wild by Jungle have partnered with domestic abuse survivors, ambassadors, Solace Women's Aid and the NCDV - National Centre For Domestic Violence to create a campaign that catapults this stat into the public eye. Highlighting to anyone who has experienced, is experiencing or is at risk of experiencing domestic abuse - they are not alone. Introducing 'No More Injury Time'. Goodbye girl math, hello girl literacy 👀 Our Women's Lifestyle publisher, Four Nine, wanted to kick off the year with a reframing of traditional resolutions and instead partake in their third New Year Revolution, raising awareness of unspoken issues surrounding women's health, self-love and enjoyment. For this year's theme, the focus has been on 'girl literacy', empowering women to read and understand their bodies, and the effect it has on their mental wellbeing and life choices 💗 The Four Nine team has been making a ton of content, featuring special guests on Four Nine's video podcast Tea at Four and partnering with This Girl Can to help close the knowledge gap, educate and address the taboo of working out on your period.
