Founded in 1976, RAPS helped establish the regulatory profession and continues to actively support the professional and lead the profession as a neutral, non-lobbying nonprofit organization. Dame June Raine, Chief Executive of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), has announced that she will be stepping down in the Autumn following five years in the role.
