The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 could cost the same as their predecessors. This is just a rumor at this point, and it comes from @PandaFlashPro, who shared it via X. Take this information with a grain of salt, though.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 could cost the same as their predecessors
This is not our usual source of Samsung information, and it may be wise to wait for more information. The tipster clearly said that both smartphones will have the same prices again in most markets.
Considering that the same thing happened with the Galaxy S25 series, that could be the case with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 too. It could be just a wild guess on his part based on what happened with the Galaxy S25 phones, though, we’ll see.
As a reminder, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 launched with a $1,899 price tag, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 cost $1,099 at launch. So, if this rumor is accurate, those are the price tags you can expect for their successors later this year.
We likely won’t see major changes from either device
A recent report suggested that we won’t see any major changes on either of these two smartphones. Samsung will seemingly mimic its plan that it had for the Galaxy S25 series, and focus on software.
The company could be waiting for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 in 2026 in order to make some notable changes hardware-wise. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 could end up using a bigger display, though. On top of that, an Exynos SoC could be a part of the equation.
Both of these smartphones are expected to arrive later this year. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 were both announced towards the end of July last year. Samsung usually hosts an event in August, but it moved it to July last year. It remains to be seen what will happen this time around.
