Conversation with a Clinician: 🧐 Question: "We have clients go from a level of crisis to thriving. Tell me about that." 💛 Answer: "I believe this starts with trust. I also believe this process is only possible when we completely honor client autonomy and help them on their journey. We should not and try not to push our opinions on our clients (i.e., what we think they should do); instead, we should honor what they want. If we do this, we can usually see this transition more smoothly. We empower them. We help clients who have historically felt powerless finally feel a sense of control in their lives." "At The Table every client is given a tour where we review all of our services as well as the expectations of the space. After that, clients are welcome to return to The Table every day to work on personal or professional goals and receive one-on-one support from our Table team. We strive every day to nurture this space to be a place where clients can access all of their basic needs and feel empowered to grow, find their potential, and do something good for themselves every day.
