Training and placing the perfect service dog takes years of hard work and dedication to the daily ingredients of our mission. 💚🥕 We are so thankful to have Freshpet as one of the most important ingredients to our dogs lives, as well as the support they continue to show our mission. From feeding our newborn pups, being our training treat of choice, and even sponsoring a litter of future service dogs, Freshpet continues to put the health of our dogs first. Thank you, Freshpet!
It didn't take long for word to spread that our pups were hanging out at Procter & Gamble recently. 💙💙 Thank you to Procter & Gamble for inviting us and always making our days more than ordinary! To learn more about how your business can have its own serotonin socialization hour with our 4 Paws pups, contact KaLynn Clark at kalynnclark@4pawsforability.org.

“We have only had Meko for a month, but she has already helped our family tremendously. When Meko senses that Layla is starting to get upset, she’s right by her side, nudging her to get her attention. Meko just knows her girl and is very attuned to Layla’s needs.” -Larena, mom of service dog team Layla & Meko READ: https://lnkd.in/gRRZRZid
Thank you to our friends at Kettering College! 💙🩺 Their students and staff took the time out of their busy school schedule to care for our pups and keep their areas clean & safe. Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Awareness Month, observed every September, is dedicated to raising awareness about the risks of prenatal alcohol exposure and the challenges faced by individuals affected by FASD. In 2008, 4 Paws for Ability became the first organization to place a certified FASD service dog with a young boy named Iyal. His service dog, Chancer, truly was a new chance for Iyal. Iyal says “Chancer helped me like myself more because Chancer made me feel more loveable.” Read their story of hope HERE: https://bit.ly/3MQERq3
