We continued to be amazed by the generosity of Barkstrong, Inc. ❤️🦅 They recently joined us at our Peach Graduation to celebrate our veteran families who received a service dog and to highlight the continued legacy of Brandon Bark. At this year's Brandon Bark Memorial Golf Outing, they surpassed over $100,000 in donations raised since 2017! We cannot express our gratitude enough, thank you to Barkstrong & the Bark family!

Our friends at CareSource are falling in love with the Rollercoasters litter. 🍂💜 Their staff welcomed our pups in for an afternoon socializing in the city to focus on the health and well-being of everyone in the office! 4 Paws service dogs in training flourish when presented with socializing opportunities. Visiting local businesses not only facilitates their training but also leaves your employees with cherished memories to share with their families. When you meet Bougatsa, or "Boo" as she's affectionately called, it's hard not to marvel at her bond with Alexa. A service dog trained by 4 Paws for Ability, Boo is more than a companion, she’s a lifeline. One of the biggest changes has been Alexa’s newfound sense of privacy and independence. For a teenager, these things are essential, and Boo makes them possible. "We no longer need to worry we’ll miss Alexa seizing. Boo always alerts us if something is wrong by barking," her mom explains. Now, Alexa can safely close her door, enjoy her space, and have the freedom she’s always wanted. A few years ago, Alexa underwent brain surgery, which left her... Read the incredible story of hope made possible by 4 Paws service dog Bougatsa HERE: https://lnkd.in/gY9ZZQzT

What happens to the dogs who don't become service animals? They change lives, of course! After their career change, 4 Paws fabulous flunky Quilo and breeder dog Pepé went on to become certified Dogtors to serve as emotional and therapeutic support for various people when needed. 🐾 Earlier this month, they traveled to Black Mountain, North Carolina, along with 4 Paws volunteers Kathy & Ted, to help in the Hurricane Helene efforts. Quilo & Pepé answered the call and provided emotional support to the local first responders fighting through the damage as well as making new friends with the individuals at Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families. Way to go Quilo & Pepé!

"Gear is very important. It has to be something that is tough because there are some situations where the dog will get excited and want to pull at the leash. If you don't have a high-quality leash like DOGiD does, it'll break." -4 Paws Service Dog Team, Eli & Jackson We are so thankful to DOGiD & ROAD iD for their continued support of our mission. They continue to provide our team with the equipment needed to securely work with our dogs and safely work in public.
