🙌Last week at #SFTechweek was fantastic! Got to host two great events, got to meet many old friends, and got to connect with brand-new ones. Similar to my strategy at #NYTechweek, the focus was definitely on quality over quantity!
Here is my list of highlights:
🎉On Monday, the official SF Tech Week Kickoff party at Kaiyō was the perfect way to start the week. Had a great time hanging out with Jane Cheng, Todd Harper, Jai Talwar MBA FRSA, and many others! The rooftop was honestly the best spot to be on such a hot day in San Francisco. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make my friend Kyosuke Togami’s MELT event - next year.
🚀On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of hosting my second Space x Aerospace Happy Hour at Studio 55. It was an amazing experience, and I'm grateful for all the incredible people who made it out. Definitely the highlight of my week (for me)! Huge thanks to everyone who supported and helped make it a success. https://zip2.it/sfspacep
🛠️On Wednesday, Omni Ventures x Root Ventures Deep Tech Nexus hit the spot! An amazing talented crowd of deep tech and hardware founders and investors, plus also caught with many of my space tech peeps! Thanks, Simon Lancaster 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇵🇹, sponsors, and team, for such a great event! https://zip2.it/nexus2
☕On Thursday morning, I got to host another Biotech Breakfast with some fantastic partners at SV’s premier co-working space, CANOPY (shoutout to Suzanne Zadeh). Later in the day, I stopped by the American Dynamism at the Ballpark event, which featured a strong defense tech crowd and some great speakers! I was able to reconnect with Amanda Eakin from Sputnik ATX VC in Austin before wrapping up the night at the Anorak Ventures Founder x Investor DeepTech Mixer with the usual crew – the event was very demure, and the people were very mindful 😉
🍷On Friday, Waleed Arshad and Suffiyan Malik were kind enough to let me crash their amazing DeepTech Dinner – I felt right at home knowing so many guests! Great crowd, great food, great conversations!
🤝I kept crossing paths with a few familiar faces, some for three days straight: Yuk Chi Chan, Rama Afullo, Muhammad Hunain, John Gibson, Troy McCann, Andrew King, Ben McCrossan and Katie Swanson. No surprise, given our shared deep tech focus, but definitely fun.
🌟All in all, #SFTechweek was packed with great moments and even better connects. Looking forward to seeing all of you at the next one!
