We are able to wrap up the weekend today & share that the 4th Annual Westside Community Summer Bash was a success 🤩 We had over 550+ community members come out and enjoy a safe space to be a community & linked to various community resources 🙌🙌 🗣️🗣️ SHOUT OUTS 🗣️🗣️ The Columbus Wizards for leading our youth engagement through basketball & football tournament which included 45 youth 🏀🏈 CWS for their support & sponsorship of our Hygiene Program, which allowed us to give out 400 hygiene kits & 200 menstrual kits Our Event Sponsors : JPMorgan Chase & Co. , Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield , Columbus Public Health , Columbus Recreation and Parks Department , Molina Healthcare , & Humana . Hollywood Casino Columbus for keeping us hydrated throughout the event with water. Yup ! We did that 😎🙌 Hygiene, Health & Wellness Day was a success ! Within 2.5 hours, we were able to serve over 30+ individuals. Thank you for our collab with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield ! Ms. Kayla recently met with the City Council Members to discuss SRD’s Hygiene Program, initiated in 2023 to address health inequalities in our Westside communities.
