"Hello STS CATS, it's me. I have been trying repeatedly to book a ride. I must have tried 1000 times. As per the rules, I typically wait 30 minutes outside once my ride is booked. However, we all know that technology can sometimes fail. Many people with various types of disabilities and mobility challenges rely on this service to execute their daily routines. This is not a luxury, as it has social implications. These individuals' responsibilities don't stop because the transportation services have a hiccup. It is already hard enough for them when most things in their lives run relatively smoothly, such as their bodies, mobility devices, or other assistive technology. In this case, the hidden cost of disability is not so hidden. The main Reservation phone lines have more value than you know. "-- One of Advocations workers feedback for Charlotte Area Transit System
I get upset when I have to wait more than 10 minutes for an Uber.. She was just a baby when I moved Advocations into an abandoned block of buildings to oversee the renovations and launch the non profit the Brooklyn Collective CLT #123YearsOld #BlackHistory #PianoDrome #ArtGallery #SmallBusinesses #Events #Uptown #CharlotteNC #Belonging Thank you Imana Sherrill, Temekia Morton, and all Trinity Staculty for creating scholars, nurturing spirituality, and embracing diversity everyday.
