Reflecting on last week’s #ClimateWeek2024 in New York, I had the privilege of joining two insightful panels—one on the grid challenges of tripling renewables by 2030 and another on decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors. At The AES Corporation, we’re tackling both challenges head-on. We're advancing battery energy storage and Grid Enhancing Technologies (GETs) to maximize grid efficiency, supporting greater integration of EVs and renewable energy. We’re leading the way in green hydrogen, participating in two DOE hydrogen hubs and several large projects, accelerating the future of energy. A big thank you to Global Renewables Alliance (GRA) and Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) for organizing these discussions.
