Last night, we hosted the BWiC/CFDI Open House as part of Construction Inclusion Week (CIW) at Trillium Brewing! Construction professionals gathered to connect and hear from leaders of our Building Women in Construction (BWiC) Committee and Committee for Diversity & Inclusion (CFDI), who shared valuable insights on the opportunities, expectations, and rewards of becoming a volunteer or committee member. We were also honored to have Aisha Francis, Ph.D., President & CEO of Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology, who provided thought-provoking perspectives on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the AEC industry. A special thanks to our generous Hosting Sponsor, Peckar & Abramson, P.C.!

It’s always a pleasure connecting with the future leaders of our industry! The 2024 AGC Student Chapter Summit brought together student chapters from Wentworth Institute of Technology, UMASS, and Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology for an exciting day of learning and networking. The event featured a lunch/networking hour, a South Station Tower site visit, and a reception at SPIN Boston. We were proud to sponsor both lunch and the reception, and we look forward to supporting more events like this in the future.
