If you are able, please consider assisting in AIA Florida's post-hurricane recovery efforts by donating or volunteering. Find more info below ⬇️ From AIA Florida: "In less than two weeks after the devastation of Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key Wednesday night. Hurricane Milton, the third fastest intensifying storm in the Atlantic basin's history, grew to a category five storm ahead of its landfall as a category three and placed more than 50 counties in a state of emergency. A record number of people evacuated from the west coast of Florida ahead of its landfall. Parts of South Florida and the Treasure Coast faced destruction from ongoing tornadoes ahead of Milton's landfall, while the Gulf Coast endured extensive devastation from wind, rain, and storm surge." DONATE AIA Florida is continuing to collect funds to help communities impacted by hurricanes Helene and Milton and conduct an ongoing assessment and preparation for Safety Assessment Program (SAP) professionals. You may donate HERE: https://lnkd.in/gEkqxsmU VOLUNTEER They are still in need of architects to conduct damage assessments in areas hit by the storms. It is preferred that you have completed the SAP training.
