Congratulations to Alameda Health System’s newest nurses! 21 new nurses were celebrated for their completion of AHS’ New Graduate Nursing Program Thursday at Alameda Hospital. “Compassionate, human care is the most important service nurses can provide,” said Terrance Fitzgerald Shaw, associate chief nursing officer and chief administrative officer for AHS’ north region. “The dedication and commitment to patient care that these new nurses have demonstrated will make a lasting impact. We are proud to welcome them to AHS.” The ceremony included speeches from some of the new graduates, as well as a special meal and nurse-themed cupcakes. “We are thrilled to recognize a new generation of health care heroes,” said Chris Adams, associate chief nursing officer and chief administrative officer for AHS’ south region. “Alameda Health System stands behind you, ready to support you as you grow, evolve and make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.”
