REVOLUTIONIZING COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE WORLD’S FIRST SATCOM E-BAND PLATFORM If you think we’ve reached the apex of advanced space technology, think again. Almagest Space Corporation’s Elevation-1, a 6U microsatellite built by XDLINX Space Labs on its #XDSAT-NS platform and set to launch soon, will be the first ever space mission to demonstrate digitally modulated E-band communications, the first step in creating a standard for the new “possible” in millimeter wave space systems. This mission marks a major milestone for Almagest Space Corporation as it pioneers futuristic E-band technologies in the harsh space environment. The E-band payload is designed and built by XDLINX Space Labs in collaboration with leading component systems providers Filtronic, IQ spacecom and Flann, and the satellite, powered by Antaris Inc, was assembled, integrated, and tested for flight qualification by Ananth Technologies and will be operated leveraging Leaf Space’s global ground segment network.
