American Orthodontics has earned seven 2023 International MarCom Awards, including four prestigious Platinum Awards. Out of more than 6,000 entries worldwide, only 15% of those earned Platinum status, 20% earned Gold, while 10% received Honorable Mention. The four Platinum Awards represent the largest number of Platinum honors the creative marketing department of American Orthodontics has ever garnered.
AO’s PowerBar Kit won a Platinum Award in the Specialty Item category. The silver metal box with a white flip top lid contains PowerBar Class II Correction device samples, typodonts and size guides placed in a die cut foam bed.
Also earning Platinum honors were the Radiance Doctor brochure and Radiance Patient Brochure. The four page Doctor brochure, which features technical information about American Orthodontics top selling cosmetic bracket, won in the in the Sales Promotion category. The trifold Patient brochure, which won in the Business to Consumer category, provides features and benefits of the monocrystalline bracket which has been judged to be the clearest bracket on the market by the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
The fourth Platinum Winner is the PowerBar brochure, a six-page gate fold piece introducing the new PowerBar product, which was recognized in the Sales Promotion category. American Orthodontics was also recognized as Honorable Mention for their PowerBar and Radiance Plus magazine ads as well as the Radiance Plus wall poster.
These awards are judged and bestowed by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) and honor the creativity, concept, writing, and design of print, visual, audio and web materials. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
