AmSkills Workforce Training & Apprenticeships is a Registered Apprenticeship Program accredited by the Florida Department of Education. We offer nationally and industry-recognized certification programs designed for youth, adults, veterans, economically disadvantaged individuals, and those with unique abilities. Our primary focus is to assist community residents in kickstarting careers in the manufacturing, public works, and utility industries while also facilitating ongoing education. Our programs follow a hybrid model, combining online and hands-on competency-based training. Whether you're entering the industry for the first time or seeking skill advancement, AmSkills is here to support your journey.

Today was a fantastic start to the new school year as BAMA had the honor of attending and sponsoring the breakfast for Pasco County Schools' Welcome Back event! 🎉 We were thrilled to support and celebrate the incredible Career, Technical, and Adult Education (CTAE) staff members—250 strong—who are dedicated to shaping the future of our students. As proud industry partners alongside FLATE, AmSkills, Pasco Economic Development Council, Tampa General Hospital and JMI Resource, we’re excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. This event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with educators and industry leaders and reinforce our commitment to providing valuable career education. Our focus this year is to collaborate closely with middle and high schools to inspire and educate students about the diverse and rewarding careers within the manufacturing industry. Together, we can create pathways that not only enrich students' lives but also contribute to the growth and innovation in our field. ARM Institute Chief Strategy Officer Suzy Teele joined ARM Member AmSkills AmSkills CEO Tom Mudano and COO Alex Anzalone at the graduation ceremony for the 30th class to complete AmSkills two-week Discovery Bootcamp, a program that ARM Institute helped to start with a grant in 2018. Since this time, AmSkills has helped hundreds of people from all walks of life, including veterans, homeless, recently incarcerated, single parents and many others develop basic skills for a career in manufacturing, working directly with manufacturers who support the program by interviewing graduates for roles at their organizations.
