What is a Provider Network & Service Specialist? A Provider Network & Service Specialist is key to executing service and education vital to our Unit Cost Contracting and Value-Based Relationship strategies, including provider servicing, data management, contract lifecycle maintenance, and enhancing provider/member experiences. Schedule and Shift: Hybrid work model Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Must have the capability to work remotely if required 16 month project    Responsibility: Manage contract life cycle, provider education, outreach, and claims-related projects. What is a Provider Contracting Manager? A Provider Contracting Manager at our organization is pivotal in enhancing our provider network through strategic contracting and relationship management. This role is essential for improving our network’s quality, affordability, and patient satisfaction through effective Value-Based provider contracting. Schedule and Shift: The position is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. 16 month project  Responsibility: Manage negotiations and contracts with primary care providers. Create and execute recruitment plans and contracting strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to select high-quality, cost-effective providers. Develop and maintain strong relationships within the provider network. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. Utilize data and software tools for negotiation and performance improvement. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred in Business Administration or a healthcare-related field. 6-10 years of experience in health plan provider network contracting, with a preference for those with hospital & ancillary contracting and value-based contracting experience.
