The 50th Anniversary EMMY Awards program was VERY well received I am happy to report. I spoke with the president of the Television Academy this morning, and she specifically mentioned all of the compliments that they got on the programs. I love how the gold foil and the metallic gold ink inside, and satin varnish gave it an overall touch of class that is befitting of this event, and it all turned out as great as I had envisioned. The City of Atlanta and the City of Atlanta Department of Procurement hosted their 2024 Annual Supplier Outreach and Networking Expo on Tuesday at the Georgia International Convention Center! The event was well-attended and brimming with promising opportunities. You could truly feel the City of Atlanta's commitment to facilitating business with minority suppliers, making it easier for us to engage with them!   Having worked with the city for a couple of decades, IPCOMM appreciates their renewed dedication to equality, inclusivity, and transparency in all their endeavors. John Rivers, the Supplier Relations Manager, kicked off the event with a great agenda, which was further supported by Jaideep Majumdar, the CPO of the City of Atlanta. Jaideep enlightened us on the significant milestones the city has made to improve processes at every level. Kevin Floyd added a great overview on sourcing, category management and procurement updates.   Mayor Andre Dickens also shared his pride in the accomplishments of his team, emphasizing their efforts to enhance opportunities and provide access for all. As one of the technical advisors for Invest Atlanta that assists businesses on the west side with their digital content, web design, and marketing needs, IPCOMM has witnessed firsthand the real push from this administration to support and uplift suppliers. A few weeks ago, Monica Maldonado and the Xelsior Empowerment Group had the joy of attending CelebrASIAN! This is the biggest, most important and longest-running business development conference for Pan Asian Americans, hosted by USPAACC. 🚀   The 3-day event brought together the highest order of individuals from non-profits, corporate, and government industries. Speakers shared their stories through seminars, workshops, and 1-on-1 networking opportunities.
