  • Meet AJ Mackenzie - one of our milk quality technicians serving Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas. Hailing from Colorado State University, AJ joined the team six and a half years ago after managing dairy farms earlier in his career. As a technician, Mackenzie performs routine equipment checks and answer customer questions, all in an effort to maintain animal health. “I love what I do every day. Helping customers achieve their goals and being around the cows...We never want to see a customer struggle with milk quality. If I’m doing my job right, we’re preventing that and keeping things running with minimum stress.” We appreciate everything you do, AJ!

This week we’re shining a spotlight on Kira Earley, who was recently promoted to Aspen Brand Manager! A familiar face at Animal Health International, Kira joined the team in 2016 as an Inside Sales Representative. Eventually, she was promoted to Sales & Marketing Coordinator in 2018 and then again in 2021 to Marketing Specialist on Animal Health International’s Channel marketing team. When she is not in the office, you might find her spending time with her husband, friends and family, traveling, horseback riding, or hiking a mountain. Help us in congratulating Kira!

Today we're thinking of all the vets out there who keep our pets healthy and our herds strong. The winners of our Vet Appreciation Day giveaway are in, and we're excited to highlight them alongside their clinics! Dr. Justin Busick (pictured below), from Hoof Beats Mobile Veterinary Services & Kem Road Animal Hospital, grew up on a farm and was surrounded by cattle horses and sheep from a young age. He raised sheep and pigs in the local 4H, competed in FFA and developed an interest in livestock production medicine and nutrition. He pursued a veterinary degree to scratch that itch and help other farmers develop programs to improve herd production. Dr. Irvin Ganzhubner works at Argyle Veterinary Service. Founded in 1980, Argyle Veterinary Service, SC provides internal medicine, surgical, and emergency services for farm and companion animals. The founding principles AVS was based upon are still the driving force behind the veterinary care they provide: caring and compassionate service in a timely and cost-effective manner. In addition, consulting services are available for general husbandry, disease outbreaks and prevention, and nutritional troubleshooting. Finally, Dr. Seth Stammerjohan & Westside Veterinary Services and Dairy Solutions. Over the years WVS has continued to evolve alongside their clients to a full-service dairy practice and milk quality laboratory. Their focus as a clinic is to bring novel and effective solutions to the many hurdles faced by their clients. They have a passion for milk quality and udder health as well as a strong foundation in reproductive strategies and employee training. Thank you to everyone who entered our giveaway, happy Vet Appreciation Day once again, and congrats to the winners!
