  • "Dairy" we say it's been the one of the best World Dairy Expos yet? Over the last several days, we've enjoyed high-quality interactions with customers and event attendees who have visited us in booth EH 3713/3714 to check out our industry-leading products, and to play "stock tank Yahtzee" for a chance to win various prizes, including free milkshake and grilled cheese vouchers 🤤. Even "Alice in Dairyland" stopped by to play! #WDE24 wraps up tomorrow, so be sure to visit us if you haven't already.

  • Today, we invite you to get to know the team from our call center in Ocala, Florida. This call center is home to a passionate group of Animal Health International employees, including nine inside sales representatives and one customer sales representative. They service our customers in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. Besides supporting accounts in a wide range of states, this group also has a wide range of experience. Connie Dukes has been in the animal health industry for 44 years, while Vanessa Kisamore joined the team one week ago! Our Ocala folks are also involved in two annual trade shows, one in the fall and one in the spring. Thank you, Ocala call center, for providing such excellent support to all our customers in the southeastern United States!

  • Good news for you, bad news for thrush: Thrush Buster, the product many farriers, horse owners and veterinarians recommend as the most effective thrush treatment, is back in stock and available to order! Thrush Buster works by providing an antiseptic barrier between healthy tissue and thrush, to prevent reinfection. It’s more effective than commercial preparations, yet milder to sensitive tissue than bleaches, copper sulfate or turpentine. Learn more and shop for this unique product, easily recognized by its distinctive purple packaging, here on our website: https://lnkd.in/gH2cgmUk

  • August was a busy month for trade shows at Animal Health International, and we’d like to extend our gratitude to our dealers and vendors for their continued support in making these events possible! First, we hosted a successful show at the Embassy Suites San Antonio Riverwalk on August 15 and 16. Next was our Oklahoma trade show and sales meeting from August 21–23 at the Embassy Suites in Oklahoma City. There were 15 manufacturers present, along with buyers from Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas. Finally, our Northeast region hosted a successful event at Spooky Nook Sports in Manheim, Pennsylvania, on August 27 and 28. Time flies, and we’re already looking ahead to our Spring 2025 Northeast show, which will also be hosted at Spooky Nook Sports on March 4 and 5. #SaveTheDate

Like changing leaves, the 2024 Fall Livestock Insight issue will be arriving by September! This issue’s cover is a special one as it was captured Tara Becken on their family ranch near Big Timber, MT. Tara is the program director for the REAL Montana Program (Resource Education and Agriculture Leadership) and is married to Animal Health International’s outside sales rep – Ole Becken. She enjoys photography in her spare time, along with staying busy on their 6th generation commercial cow calf operation. When they aren’t wrangling cattle, they are wrangling their three kids – Grady (6), Tate (3), and Landree (1). While you wait for the issue to hit your mailbox, view the digital version online to read about articles on Salmonella in Dairy Cattle, Guidance to Rebuild Herds Safely After Drought, and more: https://lnkd.in/gSADZg7x
