The Future of Climate Risk Management
About us
Arbol is a global climate risk coverage platform and FinTech company offering full-service solutions for any business looking to analyze and mitigate exposure to climate risk. Arbol’s products offer parametric coverage which pays out based on objective data triggers rather than subjective assessment of loss. Arbol’s key differentiator versus traditional InsurTech or climate analytics platforms is the complete ecosystem it has built to address climate risk. This ecosystem includes a massive climate data infrastructure, scalable product development, automated, instant pricing using an artificial intelligence underwriter, blockchain-powered operational efficiencies, and non-traditional risk capacity bringing capital from non-insurance sources. By combining all these factors, Arbol brings scale, transparency, and efficiency to parametric coverage.

Thank you again to Giant Ventures for hosting us! Make sure to watch Siddhartha Jha's presentation on insuring climate risk below:
One of our favourite parts at Giant Ideas is when we invite our founders on stage to share their own Giant Ideas. Some we can't share yet as they are so early, and others are already well on their way to build climate, healthcare and financially inclusive giants. Arbol recently raised $60 Million in Series B funding to scale their parametric insurance, responding to increasing climate risk. Their core mission is to addresses the challenges of traditional indemnity insurance by implementing parametric insurance, a model that uses predefined climate data triggers—such as rainfall amounts or temperature thresholds—to determine payouts rapidly. This approach eliminates the need for manual damage assessments, which can be slow and inconsistent, delaying important financial support. In remote or underdeveloped regions, such as rural farms in Cambodia, the logistical challenges of sending adjusters make it nearly impossible to scale this coverage effectively, leaving many without viable insurance options. Here, Siddhartha Jha, CEO of Arbol, took the stage to tell the world about Arbol and why this mission is so close to his heart: https://lnkd.in/ewYUKPem
