Arc Broward is excited to introduce four distinguished community leaders to our board of directors: Chad Clark, Natalie Glusman, Elizabeth Pedersen, and Kathy Salerno. They bring a wealth of experience and dedication to our mission of providing transformative opportunities for individuals with disabilities and other life challenges. Meet Our New Board Members: Chad Clark: An agent/broker for Risk Strategies and co-chair of Arc Broward’s Business Advisory Council. Chad was awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2023. Chad Clark, MBA Natalie Glusman: A realtor associate with DeBianchi Real Estate, former chair of the Miss Arc Broward Pageant, and member of our Audit & Finance committee. Natalie Vick Glusman Elizabeth Pedersen: An attorney with Panza Maurer, specializing in civil, administrative, and regulatory litigation. Elizabeth is a longtime supporter of Arc Broward. Elizabeth "Libby" Pedersen Kathy Salerno: The executive director of community relations for Broward Health, recognized for her leadership in community initiatives and corporate sponsorships. Kathy Salerno Board Chair Michael Wild shared, “We are fortunate to have so many community leaders who are passionate about the work Arc Broward does for families and individuals with developmental disabilities and other life challenges. 🌟 Celebrating a Successful Family Café Event in Orlando! 🌟 We had wonderful experience at the Family Café in Orlando! This event provided us with an incredible opportunity to showcase the Autism License Plate and connect with a diverse array of organizations, entrepreneurs, and families. It was heartwarming to see so many passionate individuals coming together to support and empower people with disabilities. Tonight we kicked off the 45th Annual Bank of America Starlight Musicals series! Arc Broward was the non-profit of the night and we enjoyed volunteering with them. Their School of Hire students were pros at selling raffle tickets and having a great time! 🎟 Bank of America Starlight Musicals are happening every Friday night through August 9th, 7 - 10pm, at Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale. Come out to volunteer with us or bring your family and friends to enjoy the beautiful evening. It's 10 weeks of music under the stars! 🎶✨️

Goosebumps and happy tears! We are SO EXCITED for our very own Little Miss Arc Broward and Florida Panthers superfan Mikayla! Mikayla caught the attention of the Florida Panthers, the NHL and ABC's Good Morning America when she displayed her Panthers Pride and RATtled off facts about the team's history as only a superfan can during the recent Miss Arc Broward Pageant. This morning, they surprised her live on air with tickets to game 1 of the Stanley Cup, making her dreams come true! The Miss Arc Broward Pageant opens doors to incredible opportunities while spreading a powerful message that individuals with disabilities deserve opportunities to shine. Arc Broward is grateful to be the chosen non-profit at the June 7th concert featuring Caribbean music by Marijah & The Reggae All Stars. Our School of Hire students will there selling raffle tickets for for great items!
