At Grupo ACS we are committed to digitalization and innovation. Abertis, together with the Abertis Foundation, has just closed its first "Drone Challenge", with the participation of 70 international startups. Do you want to know what it consists of? The objective of this call is to identify innovative solutions to the challenges of current #mobility based on the use of #drones to improve road operations and infrastructure maintenance. And what is the winning project? The initiative is jointly piloted by the Gijón-based company Azisa and Aren, based in New York, and represents a before and after in infrastructure inspection. The pilot project will boost the efficiency of our operations, promote innovation and consolidate our commitment to offer increasingly safe infrastructures through innovation. It will also enable the automated inspection of structures, such as bridges, to identify possible flaws, monitor their evolution, infer the structural condition and develop an optimal maintenance plan. 🏆 AZISA DRONE COMPANY & Aren are declared winners of the #DroneChallenge! Our initiative as part of #AbertisBeyondRoads, a hub of innovation for transforming our high-capacity roads, ends today with a high level of participation.   A total of 70 startups from around the world have responded to our call to address today's mobility challenges by finding innovative solutions to improve road operations. Through the use of drone technology, we are bringing infrastructure management to the forefront, providing a more efficient, cost-effective and sustainable service.   This initiative would not have been possible without the talent of the entire team that worked to promote it. 🌟 Had a fantastic time attending yesterday's "Powering Progress - Unveiling Dynamic Trends in Infrastructure & Energy" event! 🌐 It was enlightening to delve into the broader implications of global macro trends on investment prospects for infrastructure and energy projects in North America. The interactive discussions, led by esteemed keynotes including Kate Speir and with input from fellow discussion group participants David Hernandez, David Sikorski, Edgar Martinez Ceja among others, was incredibly engaging. Each roundtable, covering topics like Transportation, Fiber and Broadband, EV Charging, Offshore Wind, and Climate Risk and Resilience, provided a unique forum for in-depth exploration. I particularly enjoyed hearing insights from Kate Speir on Transportation. Networking and exchanging ideas with industry peers and leaders from companies like ASTM North America, Aren AI, MUFG, HDR, EY, KPMG, and more, was a highlight of the event.
