    "By the time you catch intent signals, it might be too late." We spoke with Jam Khan at the recent Better Together conference. Intent signals are great for demand capture. But with so much information available, buyers often make decisions before you even notice these signals. If you lack brand recognition by then, intent signals won't help much.

    Better data, better AI, better outcomes...Papa Johns? Turns out, your AI is only as good as the data you feed it. If your data is messy, your AI will be too. So, how do we get it right? We asked Jam Khan, SVP of Portfolio Marketing at ZoomInfo. 1/ Invest in Data Quality: Clean, accurate data is non-negotiable. Whether it's first-party or third-party data, if it's not clean to start with, the outputs won't be reliable. 2/ Embrace AI as a Tool: AI isn't here to replace creativity. It's here to enhance productivity. Use it to automate repetitive tasks and focus on strategy. 3/ Human Verification Matters: While AI can handle a lot, human oversight is crucial. Ensure there's a layer of human verification to maintain quality. The result: Better workflows, better decision-making, better outcomes.     AudiencePlus was started two years ago with the idea that traditional inbound lead generation strategies were outdated and no longer work. Marketing leaders have been reliant on these outdated tactics for too long and have seen the effects first-hand with people having less trust in brands than ever before. On the other hand, marketers that have invested in new content formats, growing an audience, and building strong relationships with them have seen an inverse effect. Their audiences are paying attention. Colin Fleming, former EVP, Global Marketing at Salesforce is the perfect example. In the midst of the pandemic, when everyone was scaling their webinar strategies, Colin started Salesforce+ as a way to “combine the community aspects of Peloton with the on-demand bingeability of Netflix.” It was something that had never been done before and came with huge risk for such an established brand. In 2023 Salesforce+ accounted for $600 million in  new pipeline. Colin is now the CMO at ServiceNow and we’re proud to announce he is also our newest advisor at AudiencePlus. Colin will be working directly with the team to help steer the vision of the company to enable all our customers to have the same success that he did at Salesforce.

    This is a huge week for AudiencePlus and the Owned Media movement as we announce three major milestones: First, we've successfully secured $7.3M in financing with Emergence Capital, High Alpha, and PHX Ventures taking the lead. Also, a huge thanks to Dan Wright and Jon Runyan for coming in as angel investors. And a massive thanks to our customers and community for validating our mission. Over the past several months we've been heads down, talking to our audience and zeroing in on our product roadmap. What we’ve learned is that, although we’ve punched above our weight as a small team (10> FTEs), our messaging and positioning hasn’t effectively conveyed what our audience and customers needed. Today, we're excited to unveil the next evolution of Owned Media, which we’re calling “Audience Marketing.” The positioning, messaging, and most importantly the product is all being built in order to help marketing teams build better relationships with the audiences that they serve. (You can check out the brand new website for more details) And finally, we couldn’t be more excited to announce Colin Fleming, CMO of ServiceNow and the genius behind Salesforce+ will be joining AudiencePlus's strategic advisory board. Colin built Salesforce+ into one of the most successful marketing functions at Salesforce, adding $600 million in new pipeline in 2023.
