When a market features two sides of a network, corner them both. Everyone is a potential customer. Avenue One CTO and co-founder William Martiner noticed two critical sides of the single-family home rental markets: the property owners and the institutional investors. They weren't sealing the deal or communicating effectively. Negotiations were in pieces and highly localized. Avenue One is a tech platform founded in 2020 that connects both sides of the transaction. The company's work with loan products, renovations, asset management and more made them one of New York City's largest startups last year. So many markets could be made more efficient with some consolidating and alignment. It uplifts the entire market and helps every customer win.
