🚀 To kick-off 2025, Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) members gathered yesterday at Lloyd's Library for a briefing hosted by AXA Schemes to explore “How can the UK keep its leading position in the global insurance market?” Moderated by MGAA CEO Michael Keating, the expert panel featured Simon McGinn, CEO of Dual UK, and Mandy Hunt ACII, Managing Director of MGAs at The Clear Group, alongside representatives from AXA UK, Sarah Mallaby and Joel Markham. 💡 The panel’s discussions were wide-ranging, including the potential impact of regulation on innovation and whether climate change will make certain UK risks uninsurable in the future. There was also great engagement with the attending members, including around issues such as the huge range of roles available across the sector and the importance of attracting new talent. 💬 Reflecting on the event, Joel Markham noted, “For the second consecutive year we’ve hosted a thought-provoking New Year’s event at Lloyd’s Library. It's exciting to see so many MGAA members engaging with the key industry topics.
