For International Privacy Day this week, we hosted the very first KnowledgeNet Chapter in Wales at our headquarters. IAPP KnowledgeNet Chapters are formal networking events for Data Privacy professionals. Sparking insightful conversations amongst the growing Data Privacy community, we welcomed around 100 attendees from across the private and public sectors to discuss the changing role of Privacy professionals and the importance of fostering customer trust. It was a great opportunity for industry peers to connect and learn from each other. Thank you to Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, Principality Building Society, and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for joining us on the roundtable, and to Bridewell for facilitating. #InternationalPrivacyDay #PrivacyWeek #KnowledgeNetChapter

The desire for an ‘employer for life’ is a growing trend amongst Generation Z, as our UK business has found in its latest research with UK employees across various industries (https://lnkd.in/enRipJk9), but it’s something we’ve seen across multiple generations at Admiral. Why is that? Kate and Danielle have been married for four years and have each worked at Admiral for over eight years with 14 different roles in their tenure between them! It’s this opportunity for variety and challenge that they say has allowed them to get what they want out of their career with us. For us, the why is quite simple. Admiral is a place Where You Can Be You, Grow & Progress, Make A Difference, and Share In Our Future. #WhereYouCan #employerforlife

As a leading employer in the UK, we looked into current employment trends and discovered a growing desire for an ‘employer for life’ emerging amongst Generation Z, something we’ve always seen at Admiral across multiple generations. Our new research of 2,000 UK employees from various industries found that, 75% of 18-27-year-olds seek more secure, longer-term tenures than has been the norm in recent years. We know all too well the importance of nurturing a good working environment where people come to work as their best self and want to stay, a place Where You Can. As Matt Wintle, our UK Head of Talent Acquisition and Development, points out, “people don't want to learn and leave, they want to invest in themselves and their workplace, gain equity in the company through owning a part of it, and are prioritising personal development and work-life balance.” Read the full findings from our research on our website https://lnkd.in/enRipJk9. #WhereYouCan #EmployerForLife
