This past weekend, my team and I at Baddies in Tech had a production day where we filmed: 1. An official commercial (ahhh!) for the launch of our new and improved membership, coming January 2025 2. A testimonial documentary featuring Tech Baddies whose lives and careers have been impacted by being a member of the organization The first picture is the team and our actresses after we finished shooting. The second picture is of Joyce Van Drost, CSM and Vera Dureke - active members of the Baddies in Tech community who shared powerful testimonials. After being affected by layoffs, Joyce landed a role as a Senior Business Development Analyst at TD after attending BaddieCon this summer and connecting with JoAnn Means, MBA. Vera on the other hand, participated in our virtual hackathon, the Women's Rights Buildathon, back in March and came in 3rd place. She leveraged the experience from the hackathon during her interviews and landed a role at Carhartt, which she is starting in January. It's so exciting seeing the tangible impact Baddies in Tech is making. From the new roles and increased salaries, but also the friendships and relationships that are being built in this community - it is so fulfilling! 2025 is going to be such an exciting year - I just feel it! 👩🏾💻 💕 #baddiesintech #techbaddies #impact #cultureandcommunity #wocintech

2024 Baddies in Tech wrapped! 🎉 This year was major! We crushed our goals (heyyy to our 10,000 new baddies), broke barriers, and popped off in the tech space!
