When you least expect it, you are recognized for something you have done and for the passion and belief in the cause you are involved with. I have served as the E-Week Chair for the TSPE Bexar Chapter for two years and have always considered it an honor to do something for a group of professionals who are responsible for us being safe and well every day in everything we do. Think about it...the roads you drive on, an engineer designed them and made them safe, your car...an engineer designed that and made it safe for you and your family to travel in, virtually everything you do and see, an engineer was involved in some way. E-Week is when we not only recognize and thank them, but it's also when we raise funds for the future engineers in our community. This year, for the first time, they recognized the Chair of E-Week, me. This is an honor that is above and beyond any I have ever received. To be recognized by this group means more than words can say. To each of you, I thank you and promise to continue to support you and your efforts in all that I do. Stay tuned for 2025! We are kicking E-Week up several notches with new events and more opportunities for you and those around you to show your support for this group of amazing professionals and to assist the future engineers of our community through scholarships.
