Data is rolling in from trials across the country! Krystal Snyder, Extension Educator in Horticulture at Penn State, provided GPN with a trial garden report. The reporting period was from June 1 through July 30, 2024, and the weather was hot, sunny, dry, and humid, with windy conditions mixed in. Krystal noted that AngelFlare Black Angelonia and Kalama Blood Orange Tecoma gathered a lot of interest from visitors during the trials!

We love Lucky Lantana for large displays and landscapes because of its medium vigor and branching habit. It stands up to stressful conditions and puts on a show without dulling other varieties in the mix!

Here is what Colorado State University trial evaluators had to say about NEW Guardian Angel Blue Angelonia- "Floriferous is an understatement! This is a stately triploid plant, boasting large, saturated blue-purple-colored flowers. These plants started flowering in early summer and flowered all the way until the first frost. This summer snapdragon performed well in both container and ground bed plantings…shooting out of the container like a mid-summer firework!"

Absolutely whimsical!! Monarchs were swarming around Monarch Magic Ageratum at Guelph Trial Garden. The University of Guelph Arboretum naturalists have found Monarch Magic to be a reliable location to tag monarchs!
