At our Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Dallas Day Neuro Program, we believe in rebuilding life skills. Recently, occupational therapist Jenna McDaniel realized she had three patients on her team that wanted to get back to golfing. To foster community reintegration and participation in recreational activities, she organized a local golf range outing to address their goals for coordination, visual perception, and reaction time. John Bannister, one of Day Neuro’s rehabilitation techs (and golfer himself) helped to implement recommendations and encourage patients to get back into their leisure activities safely and effectively. Lauren McCurley is the Centralized Scheduler Supervisor at BSW Rehab, having joined the team in 2018 and stepped into her supervisory role in 2022. Drawn to BSW Rehab by its mission to prioritize the well-being of individuals, families and communities, Lauren cherishes her work family and the incredible people she has met along the way. “Centralized Scheduling is the heart of BSW Rehab where confidence and trust begin for our patients and referral sources,” said Lauren. “Working with our centers, we provide an exceptional patient experience every time.
