Bend. Don’t break. Whole family mental health care.
About us
Bend Health, Inc. is a national provider of pediatric mental health for kids, teens, young adults, and their families. We believe whole family mental health starts with a strong foundation of resilience to cope with whatever life blows your way. Our peer-reviewed results demonstrate that more than 80% of members enrolled in Bend feel better within 60 to 90 days. We are revolutionizing the treatment of mental health conditions for kids and teens through a novel data-driven technology platform and evidence-based collaborative care model that enables the first scalable and integrated care solution in mental health. Through coaching, therapy and reduced time to evaluation and treatment by licensed pediatric psychiatry experts, our approach achieves better outcomes and results in happier, healthier kids and teens, while ensuring stigma, cost, and logistics are no longer barriers to care. Our founding team has been in both technology and healthcare for nearly twenty years, as individual contributors, and executives, in both private practices and at companies including Oracle, Optum, UnitedHealth Group and Teladoc Health.

There’s a lot of debate right now about the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission and its push to scrutinize psychiatric medications for kids. I spoke with Chris Larson at Behavioral Health Business about why we need to be careful when we frame medications as the problem rather than looking at the bigger picture of kids’ mental health care. The reality is, mental health conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and depression are biological conditions. Kids deserve care that’s guided by evidence and their unique needs, not broad policy debates. And here’s what the evidence says: 💡 Medication alone isn’t the answer, but neither is eliminating it. The best care happens when therapy, medication, and family support work together, personalized to each child. 💡 Overprescribing is a concern. We need to recognize, though, that medication is sometimes being used as a last resort when other evidence-based support like coaching and therapy isn’t accessible. 💡Instead of limiting options, we need to focus on early intervention, integrated care, and better behavioral health support. Would love to hear your thoughts on how we get this right. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gK2SxQgP #youthmentalhealth #behavioralhealth #healthcareaccess #healthpolicy #MAHA

We know that being a working parent is a constant juggle and, thanks to our awesome employer partners, we’re able to bring impactful mental health support straight to millions of employees and their families. In fact, as we end Q1, we’re thrilled we have 500 employers in Bend’s network! Did you know? Four out of five caregivers report less stress within a month of their child's enrollment with Bend. Reach out if your company is interested in breaking down barriers to care right along with us! #benefits #hr

Bend Health has been named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2025! 🎉 At Bend, we’ve always believed that youth mental health care can and should be better. Families deserve fast, high-quality access to evidence-based care—not long waitlists, fragmented systems, or one-size-fits-all solutions. Being recognized as one of the most innovative healthcare companies validates the work our team does every day to reimagine how families get the support they need, when they need it. Innovation is about more than just technology. We need to rethink the way care is delivered and paid for so that kids, teens, and caregivers can get real, measurable results. This recognition from Fast Company is an incredible milestone, and we’re just getting started. To the entire Bend team, our partners, and most importantly, the families we serve—thank you. 💙 This is just the beginning. Hi all! Very exciting news today - I’m happy to announce my new role at Bend Health!! 🙌 It's a privilege to work for a cause you can truly support in our industry at this day and age. Providing kids and young adults with access to mental health support is an incredible mission. Therapy is crucial for navigating life and I've witnessed first-hand how it can be life-changing for some. Really looking forward to deliver impact together. 🚀 Side-note: will issue a follow-up post about my experience job hunting in 2024-25 which really was both tough and insightful.
