The Chestnut Street Bridges project has been awarded the Transportation Project of the Year at the 31st Transportation, Building & Construction Awards Luncheon in Philadelphia! This $105.4M project addressed structural deficiencies across seven bridges in Center City Philadelphia, improving safety, accessibility and efficiency for thousands of daily users. Today, Benesch’s Brian Ralstin, PE, VMA will be presenting at the Tennessee Engineers’ Conference alongside CEC’s Jon Perry, PE, CPESC and the City of Franklin’s David Hodnett, PE! Together, they will discuss the Local Programs Project that delivered a multi-use path and bridge over the Harpeth River at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. Their session will cover the life cycle of the project from securing grants and navigating the NEPA-PE process to its construction and successful closeout.
