About us
The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
While all young people are welcome between the ages of 5 and 18, we place special emphasis on serving young people from disadvantaged circumstances. We are strategically located in areas with the greatest need. The majority of our members are children of color who come from single parent, low-income households in urban neighborhoods.
All programs and initiatives fall within at least one of six core service areas: Character & Leadership Development; Education & Career Development; Sports, Fitness & Recreation; The Arts; Health & Life Skills; and Outdoor & Environmental Education.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee (BGCGM); the largest single-city Boys & Girls Club in the country, and one of the longest youth-serving agencies in Milwaukee; announced today that after a unanimous recommendation from the Board of Trustees, Jeffrey Snell, PhD, has been named the new president and chief executive officer of BGCGM effective December 16, 2024. BGCGM conducted a national search process for a new president and CEO. Snell had been serving as interim president and CEO of the Clubs since April of this year. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gtE8ar7x

Our 2024 MVP Salute to Youth presented by Associated Bank, was a success! Nearly 600 people joined us at the newly renovated Baird Center for a night of celebration as we honored Milwaukee community individuals and organizations for their commitment and support for BGC MKE and the youth of Milwaukee. Congratulations to our MVP, Cory Nettles, and to our other honorees, Foley & Lardner LLP, the Milwaukee Police Department, Tanya Hines, Dr. Howard Fuller and our BGC MKE and Wisconsin Youth of the Year Loren Muwonge. Thank you to our generous sponsors and all of our attendees! Together we raised over 1.2 million dollars which will go directly to the Clubs. See you next year!
