The last few years, as pet surrenders and financial insecurity increased, and access to affordable veterinary care decreased, we knew we had to do more. We created Bideawee's Community Initiatives Program, now in its second year, to provide under-resourced pet parents with the free veterinary care, pet food, and supplies they need to keep their pets healthy and keep them where they belong - in their loving homes.   Our program has already provided more than 5,000 pounds of free pet food to New Yorkers in need and our Community Wellness Clinics continue to provide free core vaccinations and preventative veterinary care to beloved family pets.   This year, we are incredibly grateful for the support of our friends at DOLCE&GABBANA, who have generously pledged to fund five of our Community Wellness Clinics over the course of the next year. We couldn't continue to do this lifesaving work without a compassionate network of animal lovers near and far, and we thank Dolce&Gabbana for their commitment to improving the lives of shelter animals.

We're having a FLASH ADOPTION PROMO at all Bideawee locations so that you can welcome a new four-legged friend to your family and put some extra coins toward your weekend festivities! From today, Friday 5/24 until Sunday, 5/26, the adoption fee on all animals six months and older will be equal to whatever the temperature is that day! That's shaping up to be more than 50% off normal adoption fees! Come in today or this weekend and meet your new best friend!

Spread the word! In honor of National Pet Week (May 5th - May 11th) Bideawee is waiving the adoption fee of all dogs and cats 6 months and up and cutting the fee in half for puppies and kittens!
