Adding an Alta Aware Camera ☁️ to a Gate Keypad Housing. The team got creative with how to solve this problem. We didn't want to surface mount the camera as the camera would stick out past the housing. We used some 80/20 extrusion to make a semi-adjustable mount and got things mocked up! Gate Access Control with Avigilon Alta! One of the features we implement with Avigilon Alta and Gate access is Elevator Mode. With Elevator mode enabled a user can simply drive up to the gate without needing to interact with the reader / system. When a car approaches, the system authenticates to the users phone and opens the gate. No need for long range readers or car tags! Another Alta Access install in the books! Cloud ☁️🚪☁️ Access Control is the way of the future! For the keen-eyed you may notice two B100's and two C8's. We segregated interior doors with maglocks from the exterior doors with door strikes. In case of a power outage this configuration will allow the maglocks to drain a separate battery backup while the controller and door strikes operate on a separate battery backup.
