I had a great time speaking at Black Tech Saturdays Herstory Women’s Takeover Event on “Bio Hacking For Sucess: How Menstrual Cycle Awareness Fuels Women in Tech”. 🎉 In this session we discussed: ✅ The 4 phases of the Menstrual Cycle and their effects on productivity ✅ How to utilize your energy in each phase to be more efficient. ✅ Overcoming Period Stigma & Addressing Period Poverty at work, business, or school. This event was more than just a gathering—it was a vibrant showcase of innovation, community empowerment, and the celebration of Black Joy in tech. The discussions, networking opportunities, and shared insights have truly reignited my passion for the need to advance diversity and inclusiveness in the tech industry. Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to speak at Black Tech Saturdays' HerStory Women’s Takeover, and the session was 🔥 packed, engaged, and full of note-taking energy! A huge THANK YOU to Black Tech Saturdays for not only giving me the platform to speak but for hosting an event that celebrated women. WOMEN, the magic-makers, the innovators, the leaders who push boundaries every day. In my session, "Better Together: Leveraging Partnerships for Business Growth," we went beyond the typical networking advice: ✔️ What makes a great partnership (hint: it’s not just about the money!) ✔️ How to craft an outreach strategy that gets results ✔️ The key differences between vertical vs. horizontal partnerships ✔️ And yes, I even threw in some Hunter x Hunter and Fullmetal Alchemist references—and some of y’all actually got them!
