Dana Gann Newmark Property Manager Commercial & Industrial Property Management BOMA Austin Member since: 2019 Vice Chair of the Community Outreach Committee   1. How did you get into Property Management? I was referred because my trainer’s girlfriend was an Admin and was being promoted. Six years later and we are now good friends and both Property Managers! 2. What is your favorite hobby? We are a big soccer family! Favorite activities, therefore, stem around soccer and include going to Austin FC games, watching our 5-year-old daughter, Harper, play on the weekends (my husband is the coach), and my husband and I participating in an adult recreational league. 3. What is one item/activity on your bucket list & why? I have always wanted to go to the Steve Irwin Zoo in Australia because I absolutely loved Steve Irwin as a kid. Would also love to go on a safari. 4. What is something most people don’t know about you? I grew up with tons of animals and not just the normal ones – we had dogs, cats, birds, rats, bunnies, hamsters, and ferrets (see photo for confirmation) running around while growing up. 5. Where and what type of event would you like to see BOMA do/host? So many cool spots in Austin– maybe at Smash ATX downtown which is a cool ping pong venue, but I may be biased, as I like to sport my ping pong skills.
